These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of ScholarViews ("we," "us," or "our") and the services available at scholarviews.com (the "Platform"). By creating an account or using the Platform in any way, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you represent that you have obtained parental or guardian consent to use the Platform and agree to these Terms. Users who purchase session packages must be at least 18, or must have a parent or guardian complete the purchase on their behalf. By using the Platform, you represent that the information you provide is accurate.
ScholarViews is a peer-to-peer marketplace that connects students ("clients") with current college students and alums from top schools ("advisors") for SAT and test prep sessions, college essay reviews, college list guidance, and college advising. We facilitate scheduling and payment — we do not guarantee any specific outcome, including but not limited to admission to any college or university, scholarship awards, or test score improvements.
All users — both clients and advisors — are expected to behave professionally and respectfully. The following are strictly prohibited:
Violations may result in immediate account suspension or termination without refund.
Advisors agree to show up on time for scheduled sessions, provide honest and constructive guidance, and accurately represent their academic background and school affiliation. Advisors are independent contributors, not employees of ScholarViews.
ScholarViews provides a platform for college prep guidance. We make no guarantee that use of our services will result in admission to any college or university, improved test scores, scholarship awards, or any other specific outcome. All guidance given by advisors reflects their personal experience and opinion.
All content on the Platform — including design, text, and code — is owned by ScholarViews. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission. Feedback and notes provided during sessions are for your personal use only.
We collect account information (name, email) and session data to operate the Platform. We do not sell your personal information. Session meeting links are generated via Google Meet and are subject to Google's own privacy policies. By using the Platform you consent to this data use.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ScholarViews shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including failure to gain college admission or achieve a particular test score. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for sessions in the 30 days preceding the claim.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account at our sole discretion, including for violations of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at scholarviewsinc@gmail.com. Unused sessions at the time of voluntary account deletion are non-refundable.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date above. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New Jersey.
